Tony Caughey

Tony is an Aucklander who has spent most of his working life in New Zealand.

He is a Strategy Consultant and Company Director. His previous roles include being Chief Executive and director of a public listed company and Chief Executive of a large New Zealand law firm.   His current roles include:

  • Chairman of Northern Leading Ltd - strategy consultants

  • Chairman of department store Smith and Caughey Ltd

  • Chairman of not for profit music trust, Play It Strange Trust.  

  • Ambassador for the Young Enterprise Trust

  • Member of the Business Advisory Panel to the Auckland Council

He is also involved in a number of other companies and not for profit organisations.  He is particularly passionate about improving New Zealand’s competitiveness and promoting an increase export opportunities, especially to Japan.

Kenichi Nagai

He had...

Kenichi Nagai was most recently Vice President of Global Food & Beverage Industry at DKSH Japan (formerly Nihon SiberHegner K.K.).
He had been with the company and its predecessor since 1980, initially working to develop new business and new suppliers of medical, chemical, cosmetic, and food products, and subsequently assuming responsibility for the Global Food & Beverage Industry division.
DKSH generates annual gross revenues of more than CHF8,700 million and employs over 22,000 specialised staff incorporating no less than 48 nationalities.
The group operates in 35 countries through a coordinated network of 440 business locations across Asia and another 15 in Europe and the Americas.
He studied industrial chemistry at Nihon University and worked at AriminoChemical following his graduation.
